BABAYAGA

In Slavic folklore, the babayaga is a witch who steals, cooks and eats her victims (usually children). She was the guardian of the fountain of the water of life and lived with two or three sisters (all known as babayaga) in a forest hut supported by huge bird legs. At the top of her fence was a human skull. Baba Yaga can unleash magical flights through the air on an iron kettle or a mortar powered by an iron pestle.
